Accordent Brings Revenue to Streaming Media

Author by Anonymous

Los Angeles based Accordent Technologies today announced the launch of MIRA 3.0.1, a modular software package that enables companies to synchronize in-house and third-party content, including advertising and real-time ecommerce content, to streaming audio and video.

Utilizing Accordent’s multi-source architecture, MIRA 3.0.1 provides real-time interaction between streaming content and client and third-party databases. The resulting interaction ensures that end-users receive the most precisely targeted information, advertisements, and product placements in conjunction with streaming content. In addition to advertising and ecommerce content, MIRA 3.0.1 also supports the synchronization of text, still pictures, Flash, JavaScript, hyperlinks, email and chat with streaming content. The result is more compelling streaming media presentations combined with new and enhanced revenue streams.

“Unique video content is driving people to the Internet” Accordent CEO Mike Newman posits, “and the companies creating, aggregating, and syndicating that content should be able to leverage it fully. MIRA 3.0.1 is designed to achieve that goal by balancing the need of streaming media companies to generate revenue while maintaining creative control over their content and brand.”

Boasting no plug-ins, multi-platform compatibility, and on-line editing without re-encoding, MIRA 3.0.1 is the solution that streaming content sites have been waiting for.
